Problems with screw fix......

Has anyone encountered problems with screwfix using ANC as a courier for their order.....?

I put one in on the 11th, ,and got a calld today saying it still had not been received by the couriers local depot, but that their main hub had sent it.

I've had loads delivered by Parcel force, and they ALWAYS get to me before 0900, regardless of paying extra (so much now i never bother for speedy delivery - even on weekends!).

Sounds very odd. Most likely it has got lost. Possibly the label fell off but it should be on the driver's manifest so the regional depot would have noticed.

Many years ago when I used to arrange deliveries, I sent a machine to Bournmouth from Greenford... and the truck was caught in a forest fire at Ringwood and had to be abandoned.

I doubt the customer believed me.
