IMHO you've made the right decision - as breezer was the first to point out, honesty is the best policy with customers.

Hi guys. First time I've posted. What I normally do is price the job and then double it. I also tell them I can't do it for 4 months. If they turn me down I'm happy. If they still accept I've got a very lucrative job and four months to find someone to sub it to
