Refugees are free to choose which country to try to resettle in.
The overwhelming majority do not choose UK, despite right-wing propaganda.
UK as a land of milk and honey for refugees is another right-wing trope.
Yet still they travel through several safe European countries and risk theirs and their families lives in a dangerous sea crossing from a safe country. Why do you think they do that? Is it really THAT bad in France?

To reach the country of their preferred destination. Why do you fly over France or any other countries to get to Spain?
The small minority do choose UK as their preferred country of resettlement. And there's been much previous discussion about why that is.
The vast majority choose other countries, for similar reasons.

Well that's where we must differ. If I was escaping persecution with my family, I'd be only too happy to stop in the first safe country that I came to. Beggars can't be choosers and all that.
Err because I'm a UK resident with a passport I can go there and I'm not fleeing for my life so no need to stop off in France. Are the refugees flying over any countries to get here? You'll note that the usual suspects surprisingly find something to do away from the laptop when a difficult question is asked hoping to come back to a new page with the question well buried. 
This must be the best suggestion ever made on this forum.Should we campaign for Angel eyes to have is own forum section "racism"
