6+4=10 / 2 =5.
By that reckoning, the rest of your sums are wrong too.


Your order of operations are wrong....The 4 is divided by 2 first, then added to the 6.

To get 5 it would be.....(6+4)/2

Then, why did you post it?
It's not an arithmetic contest. Just add them up and divide by two. For most people here, it doesn't matter that the division part of the sum isn't done first, they are coming to the answer the op wants, that's what's important.
 
I'd reckon an 8, and can turn my hand to almost anything reasonably well given advice I've gleened over the years...
(waiting for the usual 'arf arf' hand jokes)
