Hi, I am thinking of boiler change, one guy says he recommends 28mm from meter to as close to boiler as can get, then 22mm.As the run is about 40 foot under floor, would this be correct. Also, any comments on worcester 30cdi, or would I be better with another make? Got Vokera, 15 + years old.Does £2000 seem reasonable for complete job including magnaclean?

That sounds about right for a 30 kW boiler.
Any installer who does not properly size the gas pipe is not doing a proper job according to current standards.
Many householders accept the lowest quote without realising that they are not getting the job done properly.
