Is anyone using this stuff?

My niece had bother last week when a plastic spout broke off the stat housing causing a major leak.

She got some bottles of Prestone ready mix for top up but ended up having her Fiat recovered.

Engine is 843A1000. Still has three full bottles so figured getting another two for the 5L fill when I change the timing belt/water pump.

Use the recommend anti freeze for the car.

I just looked online and you should use blue silicate-based coolant/antifreeze. Halfords is £20 for 5lt.

Do fact check me though

That's correct - I've just come home from a Normandy beaches visit and I noticed at the Omaha museum the trucks had Prestone stencilled on their radiators.
John :)
