How do these fittings work?
Poorly.
Nothing wrong with 3-piece red sets. It's the 2-piece ones that are cr@p.
Depends on the length of the spigot and the depth of the stop in the comp joint.
The olive needs to be on a flat surface, away from the shoulder of the reducer.
And does it not matter that the reducer isn't pushed all the way in to the fitting as its the olive that seals it?
Is the general feeling to stay away from this time of reducer then?
