I have recently replaced my cooker switch,in my Kitchen, which had a switch for the Cooker and a socket (without a switch). The only difference between the old and and new is that the new one has 2 neon lights and 2 switches on it.1 for the cooker and 1 for the socket. I have noticed that the neon light on the socket does not come on(but the socket DOES WORK).and the Neon light on the Cooker (does not go OFF )even when you flick the switch.again the switch does work as when you flick the switch it kills the power to the cooker. Can you tell me if I have the load and supply the wrong way round or is it something else.can you you advise

No. It will work fine. It is a simple switch like you used to play with at school.
