Previous owner converted the single skin brick garage that was originally detached from the house, this was then joined to the house by way of a single skin brick extension/porch. as this is not separated by a door it now forms part of the kitchen come dining room leading to porch and converted garage.
I had the garage part re insulated with 100mm celotex and that is warm.
However the porch bit i am 99% sure is not insulated very well so i plan to remove the plasterboard walls and ceiling, re insulate and re plaster board, it has a heating source via the radiator in the connected dining room.
Is it just a case of filling the gaps between the batons with celotex and then recovering with foil backed plasterboard?
or do i have to treat the wall first with anything?
