I won't be voting tory again for a log time. Imo Corbyn was a nutter but I belive he meant well. I find today's tory party vomit worthy.

Totally agree. Won't vote tory but wouldn't have vote Corbyn either.
 
I've not read the background or article, however if it was 'against the rules' for them to claim the money, who in the administrative process rubber stamped their claims? I'm not for one sec defending them claiming the cash, however the people authorising the claims need looked at also.

It's the systems that need tightened up as much as anything else. Reminds me a bit of the MP expenses scandal years back when folk claimed £££ for totally random stuff that should never have been allowed.
