Hi

I currently have the following setup:

* Bottom floor 2 gang switch controlling bottom floor and middle floor lights

* Middle floor 2 gang switch controlling middle floor and top floor lights

* Top floor 1 gang switch controlling top floor lights

I'd like to replace the switches with dimmer switches, so was looking at the master and slave remote dimmer switches like HE107 and HE108 as my only option. As there are no wires connecting the middle floor switch to the bottom floor lights, the best solution I can come up with is:

* Bottom floor 1 gang slave switch controlling middle floor lights

* Middle floor 2 gang master switch controlling middle floor and top floor lights

* Top floor 1 gang slave switch controlling top floor lights

* and then a separate 1 gang master switch next to the original bottom floor switch connected to the wires to the bottom floor lights.

Can you think of any better options?

Thanks

Pete

How are the switches wired?

Master/slave dimmers only need 2 conductors, if your switches are wired with 3-core strappers you should have enough for full control.
