I need advice on buying a product that will clean algae form my shed wall before painting.

The shed wall faces the neighbours shed so does not get a lot of sunlight. I paint the shed every year but I noticed that this year the algae is quite bad due to lots of winter rain and no sunlight.

I am looking for something that i can just Paint on and Forget. I don't have a Pressure Washer or Hose and it a tight space to rinse.

I looked at Wet and Forget but its expensive.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks :)

I got some green algae stuff on the North facing side of my shed this winter. I washed it off with warm water with a bit of fairy liquid in it, then when it dried I painted it with Ronseal One coat shed and fence paint (I did painted on two coats). Hopefully it will last a while.

Its a narrow space like I said so washing it down would be difficult. My normal shed/fence paint is Cupernol Forrest Green
