I have 3 sockets in a line in my room and would like to remove the middle one. Is it acceptable to connect its wires with wagos, put these in a wagobox, and use expanding foam to fill the cavity and polyfill over?

no You must not bury live wago joins in plaster. Is it possible to pull in a new length of cable?

It is also very possible that removing that socket may create wiring not in a safe zone - meaning it could get drilled through by someone unsuspecting.

I'd assumed 3 in a row meant a straight row, however seing some domestic properties and the way they have developed it's a good call.

The sockets could be in a horizontal row, but the wiring may go up and down.
