Hi, I have recently moved into a house that has an instantaneous water heater for the bathroom sink. The heater has stopped working so I am now on the lookout for a suitable replacement.

The current heater is a Tritan TW10i which I believe is 9.5kwh. As this heater is no longer produced, I am looking for something with similar specs.

- size: It is tucked away under the sink in a vanity unit so space is really limited. I can go up to 20cm(h)x30cm(w).

- inlet and outlet position: The pipework is at the bottom so would need a heater that takes the pipes from the bottom too.

- same power requirements: 9.5kwh/40amp

- adjustable temperature/power

I am struggling to find good rated ones (for around the £100-150 mark). I have come across the Ariston Aures Slim: https://www.screwfix.com/p/ariston-aures-electric-instant-water-heater-9-5kw/305FJ (even cheaper on Amazon!) which seems to tick all of the boxes but the reviews seem a bit hit and miss.

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations and also if anyone has used the Ariston model and what their thoughts were. Thanks

Think I will just take a chance on the Ariston Aures one as that meets the spec, despite the mixed reviews.

It looks good but with the Ariston having adjustable controls and currently being on promo, I will take a chance on that. It’s a shame that there are not that many slim under sink water heaters on the market.
How is it going? My Auris just started to leak after over a year
