A new electronics subsection would be useful for those looking to improve or share their knowledge. I would like to improve my skill set in this area also. Is there any reason why this can't happen ?

Not sure if it's been assessed ? Has a poll actually been done ? I see plenty of people in the electric and hobby subsections talking about soldering...
