Yes agreed but Margaret Thatcher recently told Gordon Brown in 2007 not to sign the treaty and Blair & Brown signed the agreement of the EU anyway

Margaret Thatcher achieved what Edward Heath could not accomplish, as unpopular as it was at the time, the reforms were necessary, we were being held to ransom by the unions.
When Blair took over nothing changed for the first three years, they were continuing the tory polices, effectively stabbing the Labour movement in the back.
