I’ve just changed my old ring doorbell for a newer version but kept the existing solar charger. I know feck all about electrics and I tested the output of the charger although it’s not quite all in full sun yet. Based on these readings and looking at the label on the back of the new doorbell, do you think it will work?

Almost impossible to say. It is a balance between how much it is used, the current drawn when used, and how much light it gets during the day, during the darkness of winter. All you can do, is try it, and see.

However, 6.67v with no load, and the device suggesting it needs 24v input - it doesn't look promising.
