I need to replace my downstairs ring main as one of the wires has been completely burn through .
I wondered why the fuse kept tripping . The part of the wire that had burn was under the solid floor
Is this a job I can do . The whole of the wire will need to be replaced as the old wire use to run under the floor which is now a solid floor so I will have to reroute the wires but still use the sockets .
the ring main only covers the front room and one socket in the back room

You can replace this cable, if it is not in a 'special location'. However, what you REALLY need to do is find out what has caused the cable to fail in the first place!!!!!!!

You will need appropriate test kit for this, if I can help just say I'm based in Shipley

I hope you're not touting for work

Rob!!! What a terrible suggestion, just helping save time trawling the yellow pages!!!

Good Easter? Where are you working at the moment anything interesting?
