As headline I've been tasked with trying to retrofit in-tumescent strips into door frames, anyone got any clever ideas as to the corners and bottoms of legs where the router won't reach?

Marking guage, stanley knife, 1/4 or 3/8" chisel and be careful. Done it loads of times.

Why can you put the strips in the doors?

You may well have the take the doors off to reduce them too, if these strips have the brush and plastic smoke seals
