Russell Hobbs Electric Toaster - Socket for Special Screws

This is a 2 year old, single, long slot toaster, model 14356 and the element is broken. I have a new one on order for £50.

This is the second one over 5 years and I preferred this model since it gives even browning for a single slice, and is lower wattage than the multi-slot. I have not been able to find a suitable socket head for removing the fixing screws, to attempt repairs for 2 units now. I have various special sets of sockets for security screws and none fit. Unfortunately, I cannot identify the particular socket required and they can't be drilled out

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi I opened mine with a driver identified as "triangle head" kindly note there are 3 sizes! I got mine from CPC.hope this helps.my toaster was 4 slots.

It seems the OP has asked this question before and asked to produce a picture of the screwheads then but never did, so I don't hold out any hope for these evidence to be shown, some people just don't want to help themselves!
Without some more input by the OP, it is impossible to help them!

Not much help but it is a hexagon head, requiring a socket and is probably a special by Russell Hobbs.
