what do we think of sabre boilers?

a guy wants me to fit one for him as he is selling up

the price of it is certainly eye catching although the alarm bells usually start ringing

just wondered if they were tom kite

Pretty much like Vokera boilers. Not most installers choice.

But a boiler is a boiler so if that what the installer wants then fit it!

I would prefer a Biasi but if someone wanted a cheap boiler then a Heatline on a clean system is fine.

Sabres are Vokera compacts without the two year gaurantee. Exact same boilers except Vokera deny they make them however it is Vokera's techline you call for tech help and it is Vokera engineers that do the service visits.

Have the Sabre 35HE in my own house cost £549 and have had no problems with it in almost three years.

Wouldn't fit another one though and would only fit one at a customer's insistance.

Worcester Bosch all the way for me from now on.

Tony.

Ive fitted one of two Vokera compacts which are the same boiler and have had no bother with them in the 4 years they have been in.

Not the most advanced boiler, but unlike Agile, i'd have one over a Biasi or a Heatline!!

Youll get a different opinion from every installer.

Just make sure the system is clean, well inhibited and you should have many trouble free years.
