Boiler scale remover. Sabre boiler,

I have installed a cheap Sabre boiler, and the gas safe guy who is connecting my gas and doing all the necessary recommends I fit a scale removing device to the mains supply before it hits the boiler. Can't remember exactly what he called this thing now though.

Now we were both unsure as to whether the Sabre has one built in already so does anyone know this? If not, what is the thing actually called so I can go and get one to fit before the gas safe guy comes to do the work next weekend.
