Safe to wire washer and dryer like this?

See 1st pick it Says on the back its a 20a switch

Actually as chivers says you can see the outline of the fuse carrier if you blowup the 2nd pic
To clarify for others, it appears to be a 13 amp switched fused connection unit, which is controlling a 20 amp outlet plate (or it could be a 20 amp dp switch - either way makes no difference electrically).

if this is correct, it could be changed to two single socket outlets, one of them a spur.

Never noticed that, i thought it was front and back of the same thing, obviously not as the wall is tiled in the 2nd pic
