have you tried google?

mate of mine had a "thing" called route 56, it connects via bluetooth to the phone, and tells him where he is / wants to go, trouble is as the screen is his phone, its too small to be of much use.

if i needed one i would be inclined to get a satnav, although i have seen stuff for a pda, but cost i would get a sat nave (unless you have a pda)

I think the app. is actually Route 66, but is only available on S60 Symbian phones and Microsoft Pocket PC Devices. The SE k800i is a UIQ based phone (which is also Symbian) but I don't think it is compatible.

You could have a look at http://www.google.com/gmm/ which is interesting if a little heavy on the data side. This probably isn't quite what you are after though. I have a PDA based solution Tomtom 5 but I would agree with breezer the easiest and now probably cheapest way is to buy a dedicated unit.

i knew it had a 6 in it  you are right though, he was round today it IS route 66
