heavy copper is £2400/tonne

most of the copper is off cuts from pipes as i was working as a gas fitter and the brass is all nuts bolts and old valves

round crawley way its 1800 a ton for off cuts soldered elbows and cylinders etc

how can you test if an aps is working/not working?
whats this got to do with the price of scrap?

it hasnt just knackered and put this note in the wrong section. wud prefer answer to aps question though cheers

Not really, that was the best price I could get, anyhoo I was gonna take it down the dump until my brother pointed out I'd be able to sell it.
I have a bunch of scrap copper from installing a new boiler and reworking some pipework, going to take it to the scrappy soon, with the old water tank, do I need to strip off the foam cladding or do they take it as is?
