Is there a preferred method for fixing downpipe to help stop it from slipping downwards. I, personally, have never been over impressed by the normal saddle clamps.
My problem, which I hadn't explained, is that I have a vertical pipe secured with clips but at ground level it goes into a square 4" hopper sat in the 4" storm drain. So at the bottom it is just plain pipe with no shoe or anything leaving the pipe able to slip downwards further into the drain.
Might need to fit a 68mm downpipe joiner and fit a clip to that.
