Rich people's acolytes spreading vague threats if they don't get their own way is a very common policy.

It's one of the tools that has led us to end up with a tax regime that favours the rich.

This country has a massive problem with wealth inequality.

The last 14 years has seen the wages and wealth of the richest increase massively whilst those on low incomes have seen wages stagnate.

The only way to address that is to tax the wealthy

So I guess you include yourself in that castigatory living on your own with no dependants ( your dog dont count ) in your a £1M+ Sussex mansion. You may think you are safe as it only 1M+ but once your labour Gov starts - lets say on all earning over 5M per year - then that figure will come down then it will change to notional income for a 5M house then that will come down and you will soon find yourself in the tax grab of labour - I bet you wont be such a socialist red fag waver then will you.
