Hi,

What terminals in switch do need to connect to get a positive and negative to supply power to shaver socket?

Thanks

Hi Raul

As I said in your other post there Is NO way of getting a Neutral from a light switch.

If you want to supply a shaver socket you need to get power from the ceiling rose in the room
you can get a permeant live and a neutral and earth from there
(you can supply a shaver socket from the lighting due to it being a small load thats the only type of socket though)

You do realise that part P comes into play whenever you carry any work out in the bathroom. You either need to inform your local council that you are carrying out the work or get a registered installer electrician to do the work for you he will then issue you with a test certificate

There is a spur going from the light socket to a Fan Switch. and there is 3 core cable. Surely there must be a negative in all of those wires.

Are they all live?

There would be a live, switched live and neutral in the fan isolator. You surely must be able to figure out what is what in there, and if you can't, you shouldn't even attempt to try this install. If your still stuck - a quick flit around this forum, and I am sure you would discover with ease what colours are USUALLY used as what in a fan isolator.

I hope you have an isolating shaver socket, and it is installed in the correct zone.

The previous poster is correct that most switches will not have a neutral.

And stop refering to postive and negative - this is for DC supplies. You are working on AC, and as such have a phase and a neutral, more commonly known as live and a neutral.
