I have a Main combi 24HE heating 10 rads in a 4 bed terrace. All rads have TRV and I don't have a room stat I just use the mechanical timer on the boiler.Should I have a room stat and where should it be positioned :?:

A room thermostat is really a must.....the hall is a good place generally - away from draughts and certainly not above a convenient radiator!
I would imagine that there will be a connection diagram in the installers instructions, if you have them.
John :)

as burnerman says but remove trv from rad in whichever room you site room stat. replace trv with wheelhead valve
