Should there be a general election when Starmer gets booted?

It is looking likely that within the next week Starmer will be booted out of office, in which case this isnt what we voted in. Starmer was elected and his policies/ mandate which have turned out to be farsicle to say the least. If Raynor takes over or Miliband surely that means we have not voted for either of these. It would mean that as per usual what we voted for we didn't get.

I have never been a fan of calling for general elections when leaders change. That is not how our system works. I suppose if there are massive changes of policy, that might be different.

Its been a farce from day 1, scandal after scandal, its like a soap opera. Another labour leader after only 18months is just ridiculous.

Its 50/50 whether Starmmer survives. His MP's will have been be spooked by the correspondence from angry constituents over the weekend but Labor should wait for the outcome of the by election, and then consider calling a general election. It would put Re form on the back foot and probably wipe out the toreys.

I’ve no skin in the Epstein saga. Keir isn’t fit to run a bath, let alone the UK. It’s time he fooked off, the sooner the better.

The cabinet are supporting him because the alternative (of chaos for the country,and uncertainty for ministers individual career path) is worse. Streeting for example is toast.
