Just reading an interesting book about these two, particularly Mc Sweeney, called the Fraud, by Paul HoldenMorgan McSweeney resigning will cause chaos and unrest as he pulls the rug from under Starmers feet
By that argument they should have called an election the day after the last election, the day they threw the manifesto in the shredder and got the secret one out.I have never been a fan of calling for general elections when leaders change. That is not how our system works. I suppose if there are massive changes of policy, that might be different.
