Shower downlight cover falling out

Hello,

I have just inspected my house that my tenant has just vacated and can see that the shower downlight fitting has fallen out. The tenant has tried to refit it multiple times without success (just didn't bother to tell me!).

I have tried to refit the downlight cover by both pushing it in and turning it without success.

Attached are two picture of the fitting.

Any advise on how to get this downlight cover to stop falling out would be appreciated.

Second pic is too close and blurred , but looks damaged from what I can see . Easier to go swop out for a new one.

Thanks foxhole, I'll look at replacing it. When I switch the light on all seems ok...
