I normally get in bed just after 10.30ish and I read until I feel tired, just after 11ish. I then wake up around 3.30ish, read some more and nod off around 4.00. Usually wake up around 6-6.30.

I get very little sleep in general, probably 5 hrs a night if I am lucky, I work on call most nights, then 8 hrs per day and now start my gritting next week. I wouldn't say I sleep rather I hover with my eyes just barely closedAsk @Highway Man he’s the hardest worker we know

I voluntered for it, our dept has run dry of gritter drivers and we were asked if anyone would volunteer. My hand was straight up in the air. First day training tomorrow, then we do a five day familirisation of winter driving with the snow plough on.Gritting? Is that a second job?
