Do we think this is going to end labour was we once knew

Some people are already saying as such.

It makes me laugh when Corbyn says 'we are a democratic party'. They most certainly are not.

Corbyns inner circle are certainlt hard left:

Seamus Milne

Andrew Murray

John McDonnell

Andrew Fisher

James Schneider

What are they?.........a mix of communist toffs

Socialism.....you mean re-nationise everything and give everyone £500 per year if they employ 250 or more
....Stark raving mad

The current economic system has created a few winners and many losers and needs to be rebalanced. So now we see movements from the Left and Right push their agendas.

Well Tories are thinking of re-nationalising some industries which makes sense. As to a UBI - not until the robot revolution which I can't wait to happen.

Too much concentration of power encourages corruption, whether from the Right or Left.

very low taxes and free markets are bad but so is too much state control.

Nosey will have share his Alpine excursions with us and I would get to drive around in one of his limo's. (y)

Hoist that red flag, brother

Correct.

But so is endless amounts of pointless KYC and AML legislation when it's so easy to avoid. It makes it harder for the small guy to send a few bob but not for the big boys doing it on an industrial scale.

All that is needed is a middle ground party then?

Nothing wrong with right, left and centre parties?

Both right and left are pretending (and covincing many) that they are there for the middle ground.

I'm all for a fair, equal, meritocracy. You want something, work for it,black, white disabled, gay, whatever, all given equal opportunity. If you can get to Everest base camp in your wheelchair, you can work...otherwise get minimum amounts to survive .life should not be easy for the lazy lefties knocking out kids,,,now labour want to introduce un-means tested 30hours/week child care,,what could possibly go tits up with that idea?!

So you agree wages for the majority should be better then?

If minimum wage is same as benefit thresholds, isn't there a problem?

Who on here is saying they are encouraging people to get money without earning? Unless unable (temporary or permanent) of course.

And how does your reply challenge a middle ground party? Are you happy seeing us lurch to the far right, or change and go extreme left?
