The fact that coronavirus raged across the world all last Spring and Summer puts your latest crackpot argument to rest. Christmas and snow also happen in winter, that does not mean Christmas and snow is the same as flu.

The virus that is going round (supposedly) is Covid 19. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
so yours and the majority of the media/government stories are wrong.

So in your terminology you can break down the numbers completely
Every coronavirus death isn’t the same as every Covid death.
Think of a Collective noun.
There are around 7 different coronavirus at my last time of checking so therefore
