Spammers

I dare say this has been discussed before but in an attempt to minimise the spammers can a system whereby a new member cannot post a link for say their first 10 posts be introduced? Its fairly common on other forums so why not on here?

I concur, its is usually several posts before links can be posted on most forums.

That facility doesn't currently exist, there are a couple of things in the pipeline that will cut spam down still further. The no links for new members is something we'll look at for the future though.

Yes well as someone who rarely ventures away from the GD of FI sections you would think that.

where are the rules that say i must post 50% of my posts outside of GD?
