Hi. I'd like to use SPC tiles in my shower area which at the moment has bare plaster walls. Will it be ok to just prime the plaster to seal it and stick the tiles/trims with silicone or something like OB1? Basically is there a need to tank the shower area when using SPC tiles which are themselves waterproof? To add, it won't be a power shower, just a simple bar mixer run off a Combi. Thanks!

Check the exact SPC manufacturer's approved shower installation system, including joints and the tray junction, before using generic adhesives or primer. I work with Quantum, a wholesale supplier of tiles and tiling products. We supply waterproofing through retailers, if you contact our team we can provide product information and can help locate your nearest stockist. www.quantumgroupni.com
