Hi there,

I see all Insignias have Cruise Control as standard ,
does anyone know which models have a speed limiter fitted ?,

my hire car has this fitted and it just saved me a speeding ticket so i really want one on my new car.

ps, I cannot find any mention of it in the sale brochure
many thanks

It should be easy for the hire company to get this programmed into the ecu instead of 155mph.
I would be surprised if it was set low enough to avoid a ticket, avoid a major one yes but i would have thought it would be at least 90mph.

there is an option of camera the lets you now when you can over take and speed limit but only a warning

sorry ,but I am talking about a variable speed limiter not a top speed limiter.

the hire car is a new shape Kia ceed which as cruise control and a speed limiter . you set the max speed limit you want via the steering wheel controls and it stop you going over it.
I had it set to 40mph on a 40 mph road in the dark when I saw a policeman with a speed camera (handheld type)
NORMALLY I would have drifted up to 50 -55mph here as it is a dual carrigeway

does the Insignia have it ? ( i see the new astra has it )

ahh makes sense
what do vx call it Cruise Control with speed limiter
But ask vx if the astra zafira has it as they normally roll it out across the range.
