Used at Hollycombe Steam Collection in Hants to run an Edwardian Fairground. Fantastic!

Not sure about those exposed connections, though...

Just a woman who thought I was trying to take her photo.....From behind a ruddy great steam tractor?!

I was a bit taken aback about the install TBH...

Those cables are not armoured & disappear off into the ground to feed various attractions. There does not seem to be any RCD's or earth rods anywhere....
 
At least they have used haromnised colours tape on the end of the cables :lol:

OOI did you see if the genny is AC or DC, and what voltage it is outputting?
 
No, I didn't & the guy who was looking after it had gone for a butty...

But the ammeter was hovering around the 20A mark.

There was an impressive shower of sparks flying from the armatures...
