I need to mount a 3.4kw heater on a wall that appears to be breeze block, but what mountings do I use? Creda say Rawlok R6054R or Unifix LB70/10mm. I can't find these anywhere, Rawlplug don't have them listed on their site & Unifix don't even have a working website. Is it a 70mm length x 10mm sleave anchor that I need? something like this...

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/16027/Fixings/Sleeve-Anchors/Sleeve-Anchor-10-x-75mm-M8-Max-Fixture-39

Been searching online for ages, but just can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!

Emailed Creda to ask this & they said these are the correct mountings, but they don't even fit through the mouning bracket. Any ideas?[/img]

Most peopl would simply use some brown plugs in a 7mm hole with no10 x 2" screws.

Although, you are meant to use fibre plugs as these are heat resistant.

They normally come supplied in the box - breeze block walls are the standard fitting to be honest.

To all those still looking where to buy Unifix LB70,

I am fitting a Dimplex Storage Heater. In Frame 13 of the Installation Instructions:

http://www.dimplex.co.uk/assets/pro...tallation_Instructions-Issue_13_F48a_C71a.pdf

it advises using Unifix LB70.

Unifix's Web Site: http://www.unifix.co.uk is currently under development.

Unifix's Telephone Number: 08000 96 11 10

Apparently, one can only buy Unifix LB70 in boxes of 100 from Unifix. Although, I only wanted a dozen specialised fixings, I bought a box of a 100 over the phone for circa £7 - £8, to be delivered tomorrow! :D
