I've always enjoyed them, ok there are a few I've not watched if the subject doesn't appeal to me, however in the main I find them interesting and better than most of the rubbish on our screens.
Last night I watched the most recent one, 'Unravelling a Scandal' which focused on the corrupt healthcare system in Romania. Some of it was a difficult watch, however it brought home to me how important a free press is. In my naivety I wouldn't have thought the Romanian press would have been free to report in such a manner. Having said that, some of the reporters did receive death threats!
If you're into your documentaries give it a watch.
Our lives in their hands right enough. I don't doubt our system won't be perfect and some of the procurement deals will be questionable, however hopefully we're not subject to things like diluted disinfectants or other underhand measures, especially on such a widespread scale.
