Suitability

Was asked by a London based company to visit a care home to change three light bulbs in three external lights.

There are no markings on this light and I am wondering if it is even designed to be outside? It is fitted below an overhang at the front of the building. Any ideas on its suitability?

What is the quaity of the seals on the fitting if any?? It has a look of a 'recessible' light.

If you look at the second picture you can see an off white band around the fitting, this slides up and down and is the only seal on the fitting.
 
I think they are made by "massive" or someone like that.

They are horrible cheap fittings, but can be mounted outside.
 
Just butting in here... At first I'd have said decking/patio sunken light fugly thing... But looking at it looks too large to be that??
