Tado to replace a Potterton EP2. Wiring Query (Ed.)

Pushing the pin down closes it off, so unsure why that would work but might be best for a new trv.

Actually, I had realised that on the towel radiator, the other valve (non-TRV) was tightened too much, which was stopping any hot water entering it, as the pin was completely depressed.

However, now I've opened it up more, the radiator is permanently on, despite the TRV stating that it should be off...!

Perhaps I need to tightening it to a certain amount?
