Hello,
We have a 22mm gas pipe outside our house that runs along the side, up the wall and into the boiler. Half way u p the wall it tees off along the wall again to feed our gas hob.
We're changing to an induction hob and the gas pipe is no longer needed. There are no valves where I can isolate the supply to the hob so we'll have to remove the entire branch and the tee and replace it with a straight coupler.
My question is, is it something I could do as a competent diyer (have quite a bit of experience soldering end feed and solder ring pipe) and be ok from a regs/legal point of view or is it better just to get a pro in to do it and be done with it?
Thought I'd ask here first. Sensible replies please.
Thanks[code:1][/code:1][/list]
