Evening all,

I work as a gardener and have an allotment so from time to time I need/get asked to do jobs requiring knowledge of electrics (repairing tool wires which have been severed), wood work (building raised beds, trellises etc) and various decorating work.

I have little, if any, knowledge of the above 3 areas but I am KEEN to learn and teach myself so I was wondering if anyone could recommend any nice books which cover the 'basics' so I can teach myself?

Also anything on the internet in the form of tutorials will be nice too!

Many thanks,

Samuel

A pictures worth a thousand words as the saying goes.
As such my first port of call when trying something new is Youtube, vast amount of video showing you 'How to'.
But remeber not everyone shareing their knowledge has any that's worth knowing.

Readers Digest DIY books from back in time - they still turn up in charity shops .
