I have a simple 16ohm speaker wired in to the aux+ and speaker- terminals, it works for warning sounds etc. But won't sound in the event of an alarm trigger.

Checked the volume is up in the settings which it is, what am I doing wrong or if there another issue?

Panel volume is 7, tested when adjusting and test tone sounds fine- is there anything else?

what does it say in your log?

As it could be global options, system config(1), (27) internal on confirmed?

so 1 activation from a zone, no noise, 2 separate zones an activation.
if its a guard access zone and system is part armed then it would start the entry timer, if full armed it would normally go into alarm as long as the entry wasn't started first.

It could be many things so step by step seeing the logand your explanation of the events would tell me a hell of a lot.

Thank you, got it. You inspired me to have a nosey round the area programming, turns out that the panel speaker wasn't attributed to any of the areas.

That's what was needed ie look at all the different things that could affect it there is quite a list.

The event log would have shown all the things that happened and from that it may be possible to whittle it down along side your version of events.
