Good evening,

Could I please have some help wiring a Texecom Impaq Plus with Contact, Ideally I'd like to wire the reed and vibration to two separate zones on the 48 to aid fault finding, in the unit I have; | Alarm | Alarm | Tamp | Tamp | Latch | Reed | Reed |

I know I have to use resistors but which value & where? and what should the panel zone wiring be set as i.e Double Pole/EOL (using Wintex)

Thanks in anticipation.

You don't need the resistors on a 48 . Just wire zone 1 alarm and tamper , zone 2 alarm to the reed and link out tamper on zone 2 ...

Thanks Sparkymarka,

I thought having resistors was the recommended way, using less cores and to monitor line shorts & opens?
