Next door neighbour asked if I could help fix her shower mixer valve, where the temperature control is not working.
It can be turned with no effect on temperature.
Can anyone ID the mixer to find help from the manufacturer etc.
Thought it could an old version of a Grohe mixer and I think its a combi system.

Generic t'static bar mixers cheap as chips on ebay; 5 minute job to swap in a new one.

My experience with them is...
When it goes wrong, change it.
I have fitted lots of them and the expensive ones last about 10 years, sometimes longer (grohe, aqualisa, mira, etc.).
The cheap ones like that in your picture last at best 3/4 years.
However, in the past couple of years I have been fitting the product below, mainly to rented properties.
Best part is the screwfix 10 years warranty, the price and the versatility to fit to high or low pressure systems.
I never had a problem returning something to Screwfix under warranty.
So far no problems with any them.
