We are mid-way tiling the larder with metro/subway style tiles, but would be grateful for some advice on the sloped ceiling. This is under the main stairs and whilst we're confident we have the correct adhesive to make them stick (thanks previous forum comments), will it be enough to keep them stuck considering the foot traffic up and downstairs?

You should be okay with blue star but it does take a day to set, it grabs very well.

Might be fun when the carpet fitters start hammering the carpet in to the treads with a bolster.

Thanks AdamCH - good point. We're using White Star, but just might have to rethink the slope.
