timber floor strength

Where can I find out the sctrucural stengh for timber I intend to use a wooden floor in my workshop and I will have the bike and occasionaly the car /van I am thinking 150x50 or the cls equivalent but I am unsure of the support distances I could always over engineer it I suppose but I want a pit width in the centre say 1500mm just enough to drop a gearbox now and then

Hi not mad just not my game I have however spoke to my builder and he rekons balast in fill is not at all expensive so its a poured floor now Cheers though
